Founded in 1973 close to the various chemical production sites in the Greater Cologne area, the SCHMIDT Group subsidiary in Wesseling has since become an important supplier of services to the SCHMIDT logistics centres and customers in this region.
All the SCHMIDT Group’s Scandinavian traffic is handled from this site and, moreover, local container trucking services and stock supply movements, in the Cologne area, are controlled from Wesseling.
Modern tank cleaning facilities with 4 wash-bays provide services for up to 100 vehicles per day at this site. The repair and maintenance workshops are open to the SCHMIDT Group, it’s sub-contractors and other third-party vehicles.
A small silo battery and a conventional warehouse are available for customers with limited requirements.
