Focusing on the Italian market, the SCHMIDT Group opened a representative office in conjunction with Eicher International Forwarding in Milan, the majority of whose shareholding, the SCHMIDT Group has taken over, in the past few years.

Since the opening, road tankers and tank containers arriving in Italy have been allocated loads from Italian customers for dispatch to other European countries.

In recent years, an Italian fleet of road tankers has been introduced.
