With their assurance of quality to customers and staff, the SCHMIDT group of companies has set high standards with quality and safety being the top priorities.
According to their credo „Best solutions in bulk logistics“, products and services are provided at the highest level at any time.
Basis is our very own SCHMIDT Quality Management System with all its intra-company procedures and
pertinent documents being provided on the intranet and updated on an ongoing basis.
Thus it is ensured that all employees of the SCHMIDT group are in a position to access an updated version at any time and use the information for their daily routine operation.
The SCHMIDT Quality Management System has been certified for the first time in 1993. Then according to DIN EN ISO 9002, since April 2010 acc. to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008.
The neutral audit of
service procedures, equipment and plants of the SCHMIDT group was executed in regular intervals by an approved auditor of international repute.

In 1996 for the first time, SCHMIDT has undergone the rigid SQAS audit. SQAS (Safety and Quality Assessment System) is an evaluation system developed by the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) for
logistics service providers comparing their quality and safety systems on a matching level.
In the course of a continuous adjusting of SQAS assessments, audits in the SCHMIDT group are meanwhile performed in regular intervals and acc.

In autumn 2008, SCHMIDT successfully passed the GMP+ audit and was certified by the LGA InterCert GmbH audit committee in Nuremberg. This GMP+ certificate documents that animal feed and services correspond to state-of-the-art requirements to protect humans, animals and the environment.
Since 2006, the “+” sign is expanding these regulations even more.
Thus, SCHMIDT is providing an important contribution for the safety of humans and animals within the food chain.
